It was working perfectly fine until a few days ago, when I boot it up it gets stuck at the windows xp loading screen (not frozen or anything, just stuck) how do I fix it

Try waiting another half hour, else try booting in safe mode and try removing your old display driver so it falls back on standard vga, and then install the new one
And if safe mode doesn't work try the option to restore the system to the last known good config
and if that also doesn't work, insert the windows dvd and do a repair

and if that fails, do a full new install

remove ram piece if you got multiple sticks
run a chkdsk, this fixes some OS glitches

makesure to add /f into the command or else chkdsk just scans it but doesn't do anything.
