A little scary, but as facebook stated, its the users owm fault for sharing that information publicly.

Apparently the only personal information in the torrent, is information the account holder didn't set to Private

It publicly shows public information.

While it only reads the publicly available information I'd say at least half of the users on Facebook don't set their privacy settings.

Some of that information can be reealllly handy when commiting a certain crime.

It's possible to check what kind of information you share.

Log in to Facebook and go here:
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?viewas=100000686899395

This shows you what your profile looks like to someone that shares no mutual friends with you, in other words, a complete stranger.

Change the settings if it seems like the page is too revealing.
