Is C# good for the purposes of 2D game creation?

If anything, the cards are buggy with OpenGL. I have never experienced this, do you have a source?

Some months ago I did a little of research on it because I had a game that ran in OpenGL. Nvidia didn't support OpenGL there were some beta drivers that made it work but slow.

C# + XNA is excellent for 2D games.

Avoid OpenGL like the plague, unless you have no other option. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenGL#Longs_Peak_and_OpenGL_3.0_controversy )
