No. Flash sites suck for those with a bad connection. Takes ages to load just to see annoying moving images.

Some things I enjoy seeing with websites:

  • Simplicity.
  • Clean but vibrant design; not boring or plain.
  • Non-frame layout. (They are evil...)
  • Active community; administration.
  • Legit content; actual English (if the site is set to be English).

Overall simply put, a site not ran by a 14 year old.

in that case, its all about organization. You ca have as much info as you want as long as the reader can easily navigate it.
I agree. Also,a good website should have a good server, makes it better.Cluttered website like someone else stated, they make you feel like if you are in the amazon lol I rather visit a simple site, not the amazon.

I have to be able to navigate it easily, if I can't figure it out in the first minute or so I will simply give up and move onto the next.

I also hate it when you need to click 1000 times just to download something.

I usually look for user accessibility, whether or not I need to look for the navigation bar, etc. Then I usually look for a good design, simplistic but not lacking in content, rich but not over-frilled. Then I rate it overall by its content.

What do you guys usually look for in a website?

No blinking/moving crap so my eyes pick up and lock onto things easily.
Max. three clicks to find what I need.
