Just cause on 4850 at your giant resolution running smoother than a babys ass. 40 - 75 fps is more than good enough. I personally have your average 60hz screen. I suppose the big ass res would have a 120hz, but it depends on what the game calls for too.

Why 8xAA? I have a small res screen and I can't tell the different if I use 4x or 8xAA Neutral. It's just waste of performance to use 8xAA IMO.

this isn't highest settings and the video helps with the illusion of a smooth framerate

this guy is not doubling the performance of a 5850 with a card that's almost half the speed sorry to say.

Where did it say he's doubling? You're saying a 5870 gets less than 75fps? But you said its so much higher powered. ANyway it its max settings.

hardocp review, 5850, avg fps 40
this kid, minimum fps 40

and the same guy says in another JC2 video that settings (probably the most expensive setting of all, of course) are turned off, so no, it's not maxed.

I have a kinda off-topic question. I have a 5830 right now, and was wondering if Two 5830's in Crossfire ( x8 x8 ) Would perform as well as, or better than a 5870. Thanks~

So it would be better to just buy another 5830? Btw, is a 700w psu enough?

if you're really that hideously gpu bound and yes.

i wouldn't bother with multi-gpu unless you really, really need it.
