| Made me lol. This isn't even a new problem? Apple phones, since the 3g, have been saying that they're getting more bars than they actually are?

I must be somewhat lucky. My signal strength is always fine for phone calls, unless I'm in the country but that isn't the phone. If I grip the bottom left like I'm trying to crush the thing then it goes down, but I never hold it like that when calling people or browsing on 3G.
As for the displaying two bars more thing, I'm confused. I've often been on one bar and still been able to call. Oh well, maybe it'll get even better.

My $20 AT&T pantech reveal gets more bars than it actually is, so it's probably an AT&T thing.
