| Because you shoot yourself at the end to prevent everything from happening.

Doesn't make it alright to ruin a game.

I meant that I havn't had the chance to play before it was ruined for me. Fallout was good, Killzone's on the ps3, and Call of Duty didn't really have good plotlines imo, they just looked pretty.
EDIT: Except when ghost died or that guy's son shot himself.

EDIT: Except when ghost died or that guy's son shot himself. | Shepherd shot Ghost because they were loyal to Price, and they planned the EMP on the Russian assault on the White House. Shepherd thinks the 30.000 causualties were because of the EMP while the EMP ended the assault by a great deal.
And have you seen Call of Duty's World At War's ending?

I only payed attention to the prettiness. I might have to play through it again. Splinter Cell: Convictions was also a pretty good storyline with a couple of twists, you weren't as ninja as you initially were in the series, but it's understandable that he just went all out for revenge and showed disregard for the 'use your gun minimal amounts' rule.
EDIT: I forgot, what happens?

EDIT: I forgot, what happens? | Well, you do the casual amount of shooting, but you're also playing as Roach in TF141 to kill Makarov, the successor of Zakarov in MW1. In the first bit, where you are a soldier of Russian origin fighting for the Americans in the middle east when Shepherd contacts you to do a mission with Makarov. Makarov then shoots you because he knows you're an American, and leaves you there. The Americans will be accused of killing millions of civilians, and a full assault is planned on America. Then TF141 comes in. You are going to chase Makarov and try to stop him. That leads you to Brazil, where you chase Alex Rojandez, Alex The Red, to get him to talk about the whereabouts of Makarov. Makarov then has two hideouts in which he could be. In the meantime, the assault kicks in, where you play as the American soldier again, shooting without end, almost dying until the cliffhanger. Shepherd gets control of TF141 after they bailed out Price from the Gulag. Soap then gives the pistol back he got from Price to shoot Zakarov.
I hope that freshened it up a bit.
Also, in the end Price finally realises that killing Makarov will happen, but will result in nothing. He then goes after Shepherd for killing elite units from his task force, using Makarov's intel.

Probably gonna play through it again anyway, due to recently getting a hd tv. Also, can he put [Spoilers] in the title?
