Difference?

Indev you generate a small/normal/large sized map. Infdev is infinite, as in no boundaries. You can literally travel in one direction throughout the entire game and the level will constantly generate more land for you as you go.

infdev has infinite map

to make a pickaxe you need a workbench, to make a workbench, you need to craft together 4 "planks?" which are crafted from a single piece of tree trunk, then you place the bench block, then right click. This gives you a 3x3 crafting area. You fill the top 3 blocks with stone or "planks?" you will the middle two squares with sticks, which are made by crafting two "planks?" horizontaly. So you are basically making a T.
