I came to this forum trying to get some maplestory hacks for me and my little brother. Since my old Kingdom Hearts community died, I needed a new one to hang around on. After I successfully got the hacks to work, I signes uo again since I lost my old username. I named myself Holland, after my home country, liking the fact it wasnt taken yet.
I started browsing CEF daily, trying to help people out, commenting on new threads but never made my own. I signed up at other forums that were maplestory related but never found the connection I had with CEF. Then I met ConnorBaron. He was kind of like me. We used to talk it up sometimes, and he became one of the people I liked on CEF.
I started reporting spammers and such in the section, helping out Banaantje and SaviourFamily with their hard job. At the time they had to put the names of the reporters in the warning, resulting in pride, but also hatred. That's when I first came to Random Spam. I remember it so very well. "This guy thinks hes mod". A thread filled with a picture of me, pointing out the hate. I can't remember how I responded though.
Then another round of Maplestory moderators solicitating got added. Both me and Connor applied. But ofcourse, nobody knew me, and Spunge got the position. I started going on IRC. Everyone was there. S3NSA, Reak, SF, x0r, you name 'em. Every hacking hero brought a visit. I started going there frequently, and people started to like me. I went to RS more and slowly became one of the cool guys.
Skipping further like half a year, after Connor left because of lost interest in MS, Reak suggested I'd go for moderator of the Valve section. Knowing I'd get a lot of votes, I applied simply with 'I apply to the function of moderator.', and waited. After some time, I got to hear I had the majority of the votes in the moderator section, everyone was positive about me beibg the best choice. And then I got a magical PM from Dark Byte asking me if I wanted to be moderator.
When I became a moderator, I felt obliged to tell Connor. That basically made him return back to CEF, making my stay even more awesome. He always wanted to be a moderator so I decided to share my account with him. Safko and SF disliked me for doing that, and started protesting against my position as moderator. I did more controversial stuff after that. Then we come to the point where S3NSA acknowlidged me as an oldfag.
I stopped visiting the Maplestory section and went to Random Spam a lot. In this period I started fads and bandwagoned with others', increasing my popularity. I made signatures, worms, browser games, and a lot of crap and it got me where I am now. Three years ago, I started being Holland. And I want to thank a lot of you for where I am right now. You know who you are, I love you guys.
