When ever i start my old computer, it won't start and just stays there.
The cpu won't start and the screen just stays black. What's the problem?

Sounds like an obvious PSU problem. If nothing posts then the psu isnt working. Check the switch on the back to be sure its on.

I've checked on the back. It's on but still, it won't work.
Even if i waited for about an hour or so.

PSU is probably dead if nothing works at all. Or a wire isn't properly plugged in. Could be as silly as the power button isn't plugged in so its not getting told to turn on.

Before you axe the victim, do the paperclip trick on your PSU first.
