I've been reading up on AOT compilation via the NGEN tool for .NET, which looks like it should completely convert my managed code into a native binary so that it doesn't have to be JIT compiled at runtime. Has anyone had any experience using it? I can't seem to find any benchmarks for the performance increase, nor any reference as to whether attached debugging is possible on such binaries. _________________
