If he came unannounced and your mom doesn't want him back, then things will get ugly. There's nothing you can do. If you're mom isn't home and she doesn't know that he's there, call her and tell her. If your mom does know, then the first thing they'll do tonight is have sex. Sex solves oh so many problems when it comes to marriage or couples in general.

Don't be rude to him regardless of how much he deserves it. Everyone makes mistakes they aren't proud of. Keep in mind that he's still your father and you won't have another one other than him.
