Cheat Engine

I have recently started making sigs and was looking for some tips on how I could improve them. I know they are basic and flat but I'm still getting used to GIMP.

So this was kind of stolen from http://www.warseer.com/gallery/data/500/large_AnimePaper_wallpapers_Trinity-Blood_SvaNtaS_1577.jpg But I just wanted to get used to moving things around.

I kind of like this one. I wanted to go for a worn look. As you can see I am still having trouble making my writing look like it fits in with the picture.

I find this very flat. Its very basic but I like how it came out.

This is probably my best and favorite one. I used several images. I wanted to put a scarab where the writing was but i have been having trouble - http://forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=504826 The scarab was going to be smaller and fit inside the top circle. So I added writing in its place but i think it may have looked a bit better if it was more transparent.

Yeah those are terrible, but you're new at it so...

First off, lose Gimp and get PS.
Second, always save as png, which is basically lossless image compression without being raw.

Thanks for the links and help guys, seriously. I'm working on music for the time being but when i get PS and make something i feel is better I will post it up. Thanks again.
