Hello, my first post so be gentle I have gone through the CE example tutorial and I know the basics of finding a base address, offsets and pointers.
So the case is that I'm trying to make a macro with Autoit which would change a certain value behind 2 pointers, found with cheat engine. The value changing works with Cheat Engine, however nothing happens when I send a value to the address through Autoit.
I began to wonder how does Cheat Engine actually change the values when it's done manually? (double clicking a value and then adding a new one) Does it have something to do with changing assembly code so it wouldn't be just putting a new value to certain variable? I'd like to know what I need to learn.
