Let's say for example, health is 500 points.
Nothing shows up for 500, in any search... 8bit 32bit or float/double.
But I see others finding the cheat, how are they doing this?
I know how to do multi-level pointers, and yet I'm still stuck in memory editing?
Is there a good tutorial on this?

unknown initial value and then increased/decreased or even changed/unchanged
eventually you'll find something that changes only with what you're looking for
Perhaps you can then try to figure out how it's stored so you'll find it easier next time (e.g 500 could be stored as 0.005, or just 5, or the value is stored 7 bits after the start of the value, or it's got an xor value encryption over it)
