That only holds for games that aren't very graphically demanding. Once you get a game on par with titles such as FFXIII or MGS4, it starts to become a problem for the XBox 360 to play them at high definition. As was the case with FFXIII. Point being that they are using 100/100 from the XBox 360 now, while they have yet to begin scratching the surface for the PS3. And of course you could tell me how FFXIII was a port, and therefore the quality was worse, but how come I can play Bayonetta at the same quality as the XBox 360 version? |

My ps3 runs games at 1080p when available and at 720p when that's the maximum. I have a Wii a gaming pc and a Ps3 no Xbox yet though and I am not planning to get one.

I prefer the PS3, and I own all consoles. PS3 definitely looks better here. I've compared Oblivion, Fallout 3 and MW2 since we've got those games on both consoles.

It really depends on what genre of games prefer to play.
FPS games, which seems to be about 90% of the "real games" as a lot of people sadly consider it, just don't play good with an analog stick.
You're better off playing them on a PC.
Also, regarding posted picture, what about free mods/games for the PC?
I've bought the Orange Box for 30 bucks, and it's not just TF2, Portal, HL2 and the HL2 episodes, it's also access to a fair amount of source mods, which are almost stand-alone games. I don't think I'm far from the 20-mark with just that. |
