How do I cheat?

So I download all these games to find out I need a better graphics card.
fuck

But then I found out I might be able to play portal.

So I download it using what's left of my hard drive n' I get this error when I run the installation.

I obviously have a 1152x864 monitor cuz my parents are really cheap. (I'm lucky I don't have to use a CRT)

Will portal still run fine if I continue with my bad screen?

Note my comp can not go 1400 no matter how hard I try.

hal.dll is the reason why your resolution cannot go that high.

Delete, restart, problem fixed.

okay so I tryed crues thing and quarter way through installation it said can not decompress 2 things one of them was verdana something and now the text on cef posts looks different but i can play the game so yay
