My CS 1.6 runs fine in W7 x64.

Mine didn't work on Vista, but when I upgraded to win 7 x86, it worked.

CS 1.6, CZ and CS Source all run fine with me on Win7 x64

Make sure you have all your up to date video drivers, directx and misc updates (if it's cracked windows 7 then don't use the KB1033 update)
