| A number of things can cause the mobo to refuse to post. Make sure the heatsink is attached properly. They won't boot if not. Ram can cause a problem, listen for beeps. If the fan just isn't spinning then you may just have a burned out chip on the mobo. When I build my new pc the first mobo caught fire for a second and it burned out the chip that controlled my case fan.

| Okay so, my CPU doesn't seem to be running, the light on the motherboard is on, the integrated AND my graphics card aren't working (or so it seems) and when I turn it on I get 'PC Not Available' (My monitor does that) and nothing I do fixes it. hmm.

| Its one of 2 things. Your PSU is not getting power to the mobo and gfx card, assuming your card requires secondary power ( a 6 pin connector). Or your mobo is dead (assuming the card is stand alone it would also be effected).

| There was dirt/dust clogged inbetween the fan and the heatsink, but in a place where it was almost invisible when you first look. It was just chance that he noticed it before he put it back in. It stopped the power going through. So yeah, the motherboard AND the graphics card had nothing to do with it.

Listen to the number of beeps, check your mainboard manual and see what it means. E.g 4 beeps - ram failure (just an example of course).
Have you turned it in to a comp store & let them check it out yet? If not - do so. Please. You're probably just going to make it worse.

Buy a can of CO2 and clean it once in a while. If you expected anyone to be able to figure out you are a filthy hobo, well thats just not as easy as it sounds. I gave you basic options for errors. I know plenty, you just do not understand basic troubleshooting. How many people on the internet are supposed to know your shit is filthy if you do not mention it? GG Connor, you failed again.

GG Connor, you failed again. | Like I said, it was one bit of dust that was lodged into a place that was almost invisible. I used a vaccuum to clean it beforehand but it didn't get it. Derp.
