| Sapphire or Msi if you want to overclock. Anything is fine if you don't.

Everything is gradually coming up and over msrp, and not going to come down ever. Even Zotac just piled on a few bucks to their 400's. Remeber "It'll be achievable during the summer"? OLOLOLOL Get used to it, you get what you pay for.

| Its not msrp, you are paying for the epic vaporx cooling system. All vapor x cards are more expensive. It actually comes with a decent cooling system instead of having to buy a better one.

Yes i mad.
Aside, 58xx Vapor-x fails at overclocking thanks to voltage lock, unlike Powercolor LHS series , Asus, MSI lighting which can efficiently push the power of Cypress.
tl;dr
XFX gone shit, explainable that they are not in partner making Fermi
Sapphire gone shit, with their gsod, wrong bios, etc
unless you are e-peen seeking for the 5970 4gb, i see no reason to pay extra for Sapphire or XFX

GSOD is easily fixed by turning off GPU recover in xp and changing the recovery timers in w7 "TDR". I changed the TDR from 2 seconds to 10 in w7 and it stopped it from happening to my 4850. The 5xxx series have the problem if uses drivers below 10.2 i think. But that problem is supposed to be all ATI 5xxx series.

Not refering to the classic for 4xxx series GSOD
i'm talking to the 57xx special GSOD, Sapphire basically flashed the wrong bios on the wrong chip.

Sapphire Radeon HD 5870 Vapor-X CrossFireX 1GB GDDR5 / PCI-E 2.0 / 2xDVI Grafikkort
or
ASUS EAH5870/2DIS/1GD5 Radeon HD 5870 CrossFireX 1GB GDDR5 / PCI-E 2.1 / 2xDVI Grafikkort
Or maybe even a third? I need a real advice here not a flame war.
