Turtwig is meh-ish. when it evolves into torterra it has fairly good defenses.
Flareon, shit lvl up movepool. Pure fire types dont have a decent TM movepool either. Sunnyday/fireblast or Overheat/White herb(i think) is a good combo.
Dragonair has a good lvl up movepool for a pure dragon. Gets better with dragonite. I suggest ice beam to take out nasty dragon types and flamethrower for ice types.
Dodrio is good depending on where you're at and what game (Im guessing HG/SS). Pre-E4 it's not bad, it's one of the faster flying types. Post E4- there's much better flying types. |

In my opinion, if you can, try to get a Staraptor. If it has the right nature, it can have very good attack if you EV train it. It doesn't hurt to have good IV's either. It can also have decent speed.
Any flying legendaries are good fliers, but banned in competitive. Except for Latias, which really isn't flying anyways.
Skarmory with Spikes can be a huge help, and if you teach it stealth rock as well, it can tear apart any opponent's team if it can survive some hits. |
