I never smoked cigarettes. Never saw the point as it doesn't get you high, it's complete shit. I wouldn't recommend smoking, ever. Almost everyone I know dislikes being addicted to smoking.
Somehow, all of these kids think smoking is fucking awesome. I never got why.

Started with a few friends smoking. Then developed into a habit. Continued because it was just part of the daily routine.

Yeah, but they are mostly disgusting for non-smokers. Somehow smokers aren't bothered by other smokers' habits & traits. They also often think non-smokers exaggerate when we tell them we can smell the smoke when they return from a round of smoking. Trust me smokers, we are not exaggerating! Especially when smokers start standing close to you to tell you something, g-r-o-s-s~!
