I'm pretty sure what he was doing voids the warranty.

Yeah because me having anger problems and a lack of money is much worse than your sick fucking fantasies.

I was going to umad.jpg but that would be mean coming from me.

btw: that "screws" are not screws but locks :/
you just need to pull them then place your heatsink back on your motherboard. push the locks and use the screw driver to lock them in position again :/

EVERYONE IGNORES THIS.

No, I've tried using a screwdriver (funnily enough, that's the first thing I tried).

Yes. Last night I had a few shards in my fist.

Firstly, what the fuck are you talking about? The screws can't 'magically be put into smooth holes and not move'; it was obviously designed in some manner or fashion to work like that.
Have you tried reassembling it?
Forgive me if I misunderstood your problem; your rage-filled summary wasn't exactly detailed.
It's like they were kinda jammed in there, because the motherboard only has holes, not holes that have screw patterns on them. And the screws are normal screws and go straight through the motherboard when placed in. Tried screwing them a bit with the screw driver but it doesn't help matters.

Those are pop rivets. Not screws.

They might not even be pop rivets. I just read your last post out of the whole thread so I'm probably wrong. Google to make sure.

Alternately, you could try using wingnut. I dunno. If you've tried everything else.

Googled. They aren't pop rivets. They are screws.

I dunno. Get on MSN.

It looks like a retaining screw. If it's thinner than the picture you showed me, then it makes me think it could be a flower nut retaining screw which are usually used in motorbike contstruction. There are no grooves inside, which is weird. See if you can thread a slightly thicker screw into the holes. If you don't want to stop spending money on Baileys, go find an old motorcycle from a junkyard or some shit and grab the right width screw(s).

Really, if worst comes to worst, you could install some weird hook shit on the inside of the case and hang the motherboard on them with some zip ties.

Also try longer screws (if they're as small as the picture), and a wingnut. I want to see if that works.

K brb.
