If your case covered are closed, then there should be minimal water damage to your components even if the system is turned on.

it'll live, just let it dry, Unless you have a HAF and all the fan cable got wet, motherboard got shitload of water because there aren't any dust filter on the side and the front.

. As long as you don't turn em on for a while, you can soak electronics in water and they are fine. Assuming they aren't hyper delicate. Which computers really aren't. My tower is open all the time. (but I'm always fixing it XD)

Use a can of compress air to blow out any excessive water in them tight areas.
You can also opt for a AMD hexa core...
