16:10 is the golden ratio, it been the golden ratio since fucking thousands years ago.
inb4 people bitching about stretching and shit, the image won't stretch unless you force it to 16:9 mode which look will look complete shit no matter what.

16:10 is too tall. Your field of vision goes much farter to the sides than up and down. 16:9 is just a staple until true 2.35:1 TVs and monitors become more mainstream. 16:10 is even more obsolete, and is even farther from being able to view 2.35:1 content natively.

If you're using your computer as a workstation, then yes 16:10 is easier for most people to work with. For the rest of the world, 16:9 is clearly superior.

I forgot the fact that most people here doesn't use their desktop as workstation, 16:9 is more common because it much more cheaper to produce as a TN panel, not to mention OEM bundle them with cheap desktop and sell it at local retail. 16:10 been obsolete to average day users, but still remain strong in anyway possible. DREAM ON BUYING A QUALITY16:9 IPS PANEL.
