instantiate a scanner object from Scanner class. then use nextInt methods to fetch the input. you might wanna read up on exceptions to make sure they're ints though. use Integer.parseInt() and then catch NumberFormatException if you're not gonna use the scanner

lol put your money where your mouth is. I don't believe you can deliver the fully working java implementation in 1 minute
I can do it in visual basic in 3 minutes with a pretty GUI
:/
or in C# or C++ with the Command line panel ugly GUI in a minute
with a pretty GUI in a little more than 5 minutes.
a command line program can't be a 'gui'. it's clearly text/command based if it runs in a console lol
if you can see it and use it for something its a graphical user interface :/
the command promp is a GUI, a very primitive one but a gui in the end.
a command prompt is an interface, just not a graphical user one.
@zaczac : read the whole string, then parse it with Integer.parseInt(). catch NumberFormatException in a try()/except(). you can use the StringTokenizer class to split the string
you can fucking right click in the command promp >.> it is NOT a pure command line interface like DOS.
a GUI is not only pretty buttons you know >.>....
btw:: I dont use VB, the language I use mostly now is C#
and very proud of what I achieved to make in 2 months.
when you right click on it
it shows a menu
that menu is highlighted with light blue when the mouse is over right?
that highlighted blue and the background rectangle are .bmp s compiled into one of the windows applications that cmd is using (( you can even edit them with the correct tools ))
therefor it is using graphics, it is a FUCKING GUI
lmao no they're not you retard. .bmps compiled into one LOL. who the hell told you that. you should take a look into TrackPopupMenu(). and yes, you can edit it with a hook.
summary of your posts :
BAWWW SLUGSNACK AND WIKI ARE WRONG, CLIs DUN EXIST. CMD.EXE IS A GUI.
keep posting, make yourself look more stupid
:/
I dont remember which application held the menu file because I saw it a long time ago but to your ".bmps compiled into one LOL."
its done a lot :/ you know .. even the start button is compiled inside the explorer.exe :/
I know it because of when I edited it with some tools and changed it. the windows 7 one was a little complex because it used .bmp x32 with alpha channels.
