| 1080P 22" is the best compromise. Any larger of a screen without raising the resolution is retarded for obvious reasons, and raising the resolution any more will make you not able to view HD content natively. |

protips: all movie will have letter boxing no matter what, even on your 16:9.
1920x1080 offers little or no space improvement from old 4:3 monitors, enjoy your extra 56 lines while 1920x1200 having 15% extra space
16:10 is the golden ratio, it been the golden ratio since fucking thousands years ago.
inb4 people bitching about stretching and shit, the image won't stretch unless you force it to 16:9 mode which look will look complete shit no matter what.
also real men buy IPS panels because they are not poor.

I forgot the fact that most people here doesn't use their desktop as workstation, 16:9 is more common because it much more cheaper to produce as a TN panel, not to mention OEM bundle them with cheap desktop and sell it at local retail. 16:10 been obsolete to average day users, but still remain strong in anyway possible. DREAM ON BUYING A QUALITY16:9 IPS PANEL.
Bough a set of U2410 just to tilt it and browse /g/ all day at work, feels fucking great that you don't have to scroll
