I'm getting a new gfx card soon and then also a monitor. My graphic card can pull a max of 2560 x 1600 but I'm not buying a 30 inch monitor. So what is a good resolution?

Thinking of getting and ASUS VK266H monitor, is it any good? From what I've gathered it is, but I might be wrong.

| 1680x1050 is the best resolution, I find 22" monitors to be very comfortable to look at.

You have a snide comment for everything, Viral.
I shouldn't say it's the best, I like it.

ASUS VK266H is the one I looked at;
16:10 wide screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution supports Full HD 1080p vision. Embedded HDMI simplifies cabling and provides the highest-quality video and audio experience. This monitor features pristine and stunning clarity of HD DVD and Blu-ray Discs. It is great for both video games and HD DVD movies playback.
Built-in rotatable 2.0 megapixels webcam is easy to conduct face-to-face live conversations with family, friends or online game partners. It features Smart EV (Exposure Value) Control technology to cleverly compensate for poor lighting conditions. It is Plug-and-play for easy connection and easy use through the USB interface without installing extra drivers.
The glossy and slim frame front bezel exudes the most enduring classics of style. It features convenient key controls for functional set-up in the multi-language OSD. Cable manager gets rid of tangling cables and wires. It also features easily detachable base for wall mount.

1920 x 1200
its too big and stretching is always bad.
if you wanna stretch a 1080p video well there is not very much of a loss but there is some at the compensation and AA pass.
