You do realize they did NOTHING to the 3d right? All they did was give it an angle, you can even do it in d/p/t and hgss with an action replay code.

And how would it ruin the game by modernizing it? In all probablity, a ton of modernization would make the games a lot better

Game looks overly cheap and LQ.

If you're going to make the cities 3D, then at least don't make them look like blocks. Also, make the ground flat - it looks like utter shit.

The fighting image also looks awkward:

Your pokemon is too centered, and the other is too far away. Hopefully this is just the starting battle scene, but even then, the enemy pokemon seems too far away.

The angles are not a good a thing. Not for a pokemon game at least.

and the ground is not flat. Look at the img with the house on the grass. If you think that's flat, then you got some serious issues with your eyesight.
