| Also, while on the subject of Crysis, its not really that great of a benchmarking tool anymore, its three years old.

Still great benchmark
Since metro2033 is another gaem with the "TWIMTBP" shit
and uniengine is for DX11 tessellation. Furmark is for stability, 3d____ is for silly e-peen like Crysis.
tl;dr Crysis still a great benchmark, awaiting for Crysis2

| Usless to play on more than one monitor. If I were to spend 3000 bucks on stuff in the way of monitors, I would buy a 1080p large format lcd.

Crysis is definately a great benchjoe. Just set everything to max and your resolution to 1920x1200. If you can get >25fps average on the benchmark mode, you're onto a winner.

The only thing I'm glad about is the fact that amd has realized that it's reached the point of diminishing returns as far as graphics cards go. Hopefully, that means the in the near future, all computers will start to have pretty much the same graphics, which will be able to do pretty much every thing. | at 2048x1152 my oc'ed 5850 averages 35 fps on max with real-lifesis mod.

It is, with a dedicated phyX card to go with.

no, physx hardly has an impact on performance on this game.
it seems to be completely and utterly gpu bound.
