|
|
Heya, I more or less tried doing this:
http://compnetworking.about.com/od/windowsxpnetworking/ht/mapnetworkdrive.htm
However, when I'm adding network place, it asks me to type the address of the web site, ftp site, or network location to open.
I'm typing in auxity.com, www.auxity.com, ftp.auxity.com, http://www.auxity.com, http://auxity.com, http://ftp.auxity.com, ftp://auxity.com, NOTHING WORKS.
It keeps saying it's invalid.

\\auxity.com\
and hope you don't have a isp that blocks windows file networking (137-139)
and of course, have file sharing enabled (on the network card directed to the internet) and password protected at least (I remember the time when I could enter C$ of almost everyone's computer)
also, what Os is your server running ?
