Cheat Engine

Hi there,

I downloaded cheat engine, and went to install it. I am on Windows 7, and I ran it by clicking on "Run as administrator".

Then nothing happens? Why is this?

Make sure you download it from www.cheatengine.org if you downloaded cheat engine 5.6 from anywhere else, you installed a virus

Also, just doubleclicking is enough as well, it'll popup a message to go into admin mode automatically

And make sure you downloaded the installer (.exe) not the rar

and if that doesn't help, it could be your anti virus which prevents ce from running. disable/uninstall+reboot

Alternatively, if you're one of the few people in the world that knows how to extract rar files, download the version without installer from the website and run that

Also, I am using cheat engine for a game called 'shopping street', I've followed videos for it, and it does not work? I put in the number, and I click "next scam", nothing happens. No addresses or values show up. Why is this? Thanks. Smile

Is there anything I need to change in settings or anything?
