you gotta be very "no idea on how to describe it" to care more about the name than the performance :/
EVGA GTX480 lineup:
GTX480 Hydro Cooper FTW ($649.99)
GPU: 750MHz/RAM: 1.5GB/3800MHz
GTX480 Super Clock ($529.99)
GPU: 725MHz/RAM: 1.5GB/3800MHz
GTX480 ($499.99)
GPU: 700MHz/1.5GB/3696MHz
GTX480FTW-GTX480 Super Clock
Price difference: $120 for a mere 25MHz overclock on the GPU
GTX480FTW-GTX480
Price difference: $150 for 50MHz increase on GPU and 104MHz increase on ram
GTX480 Super Clock-GTX480
Price difference $30 for 25MHz overclock on gpu and 104MHz overclock on graphics ram.
I do care about performance, but I won't be the dumbass to fall for some marketing BS scheme (or stupid name branding) to pay that much of a difference for a minute performance increase.
Out of the 3, if I were to get one (no self manual overclocking), the Super Clock will be the best choice in terms of dollar/performance.
not only that increase in overall performance but water cooling = much more silent than any other card and cooler.

Them maintenance free are just sealed setups and it works like crap.
And if you do get a maintenance free vga cooling kit, you are still required to remove the stock water block on that GTX480 FTW which defeats the purpose of the pricing and makes its (once again) naming more idiotic.
with the FTW systems you dont need that because it is water cooling ready.
the only thing you need is the normal CPU liquid cooling system (( one with a good pump )) 2 splitters and a little more tubing, just split the out and in tubing so you can connect the CPU and the GPU with the same system and you are done.

Weren't you talking about a maintenance free water cooling kit?
If maintenance free kit is what you want, then what is the point of that VGA waterblock on that GTX480 FTW?
That YouTube clip has nothing to do with the post and it's just a side note. _________________
what I was saying about the card is that it is water cooling ready so all you need to do is to plug your water cooling system and it is ready.
and I was mentioning that it wasn't that hard at all since there are now systems that are sealed water cooling and don't need maintenance.
