First to help will be repped.
I can load the game with NO$GBA, and make a character, but when prof. Oak is done talking, both screens go black and stay that way.
I already set the setting the right way (I think) so please post all possible ways I could fix.
I'll check in a bit after i'm back from the store.

DesMume sucks. Use No$GBA I didn't have to do any shit to get it to work.

It doesn't work, when I open the folder it has 3 programs, and the only one that works freezes up.

You are doing it wrong. Download the torrent again, unrar it and check for errors. Mine works fine.
