2. disable the depth test

or...

1. find the console command that accomplishes the same result.
2. use that instead

I cant really help you cause iv never played the pc version but i know something you should look for.

On the Favela map there is a strange glitch effect when you run out of the map. If you run to the end of the map, your player becomes invisible.
Other players wont see you either. If you manage to figure out what causes it and you're able to toggle it on off, that would own anyone ingame.
Imagine it, only an aimbot would get you.
