Hi,
I need your help guys.
I find a game made in shockwave, I open it in my web browser (Firefox).
The game is a race game, I would like to stop the timer to do the best run. In game, the clock only appears when the race begun and then the timer display time as 01:45 (min:sec). When you finish your race, the game displays the time is more definite : 01:45:752.
I linked my cheatengine with firefox.I started to find a value, which start at 0 and which increase. I never found it.
I don’t know what kind of value ( float, byte, double) .
Then I searched a value (unknown) increasing, but there are many.

So guys, what kind of value you ‘ll search? And how? Does Firefox is the good application?

try scanning the number of SECONDS

1:45 = 105 seconds.

In my screenshot, the time is 173. but as you can see there are 190 results...

how to find which one is the good one?

I tried to change all the value, but some of them don't want to change.
Have you got an idea?

But the problem is there are many address , i don't know which one to choose :

No the game is a shockwave game.

It strange , timer's time increase (start at 00:00) but cheatengine says fsub. ( subtracktion ?)

i don't know how to do next.

first see if the value = seconds and filter out some, or if it isnt just freeze all 196 addresses and see if the timer stops, then slowly unfreeze addresses and see which one controls the timer

you might want to freeze 50 first, then if it doesnt lock, freeze the next 50, to avoid crashes

and make sure it doesnt just stop visually
