Try kernelmode read/write process memory
And if that fails, try the virtualpagedir plugin in the plugin folder

Alternatively, it might be a kernelmode hook, in which case you have to rewrite the kernelmode rpm of dbk to bypass that.
If you're on 64-windows, you might have more luck with ce 5.6 (after making it undetected)

ummm X-trap does do a kernal hook...
but how would I bypass it?

try virtualpagedir or make a copy of the kernel and call that copy's version instead
