I was only answering the "best" part-- one OS can't be all three, best/weirdest/most unique, can it? |
If you made it yourself and consider it the best, then it can. |
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending a return to XP, especially if you happen to be trying to use Vista Basic. You've run into problems that I haven't but I've been using Vista (Premium) for many months now and its still a keen to showing down on some very.

You haven't used 7 for long enough. Of course you're not going to like it right away because you're not going to feel used to it. You're going to feel slow and sluggish. Once you get used to 7, there truly is no reason to go back to XP. If you get used to 7 and then go back to XP, that's when you feel restricted.
