I'm afraid of playing Allods Online because I KNOW it will suck up ALL of my time and then I won't have enough time for my schoolwork and shit.
Fuck, I've never been in this predicament. |

MMOs are time wasters in general. The games don't offer any real incentives other than sucking up time. With a normal game, you start and you end. There's a limit to how much you can enjoy it, and that the satisfaction from finishing it is more rewarding than anything you find in an MMO.
Playing an MMO is like taking up a chore that you can never complete. _________________

Playing an MMO is like taking up an enjoyable hobby you can do with friends easily and conveniently at a self-challenging pace.
Because that's exactly what it is. _________________

For how long?
How long till it dies down and it becomes a redundant borefest? How many hours do you waste getting absolutely anywhere? How long could such a nonproductive hobby stay enjoyable when the satisfaction you receive diminishes constantly?
Sure, friends make them enjoyable, but even they have their limits. Look at Aion. You were all crazed up about it and now you barely talk of it. What happened to those networks? They were eroded with time.
MMOs are far from being "convenient" social networks. _________________

Most who play World of Warcraft are either: entering puberty, or at puberty. It's a shame that a kid wouldwaste the most critical point in their life on something that has no practical reward in life. Why waste your adolescence on a virtual world when you could enhance your experience on a physical plane of reality that is constantly bombarding you with positive reinforcers?
@coldie,
not really arguing =/(excluding reply to mcrein which i have no plan for advancing forward.)
just telling you that MMO will be like a chore for u. _________________
