Im going to london on friday with my dad. Ill be 16 in 3 weeks, what are the chances that they will serve me a beer at a pub? I'm with my dad ofcourse.
My sister was allowed to drink a glass of wine when she was there but she was 17.

| Depends on the pub, ofcourse. But the changes are quite small, if they actually check it.

I'd imagine it'd be like trying to order alcoholic beverages in your native country. Not much is going to change. Here in Canada they can "Overlook" you being underage if you're with a parent when you order, but they reserve the right to deny you regardless.

If you look under 21 they have the right to ask for id.. The drinking age is 18 in the uk but the signs say what i just wrote
I was drinking in my local at the age of 16 never got asked for id so its all down to luck really.

| If you look older, you shouldn't have a problem. Either way, if not possible you could always ask your dad to buy you some and then you drink...

| Drinking age is 18 in the UK and you WILL get asked for ID if they think you are under 18.

| And if they do sell you alcohol they can get into a lot of trouble. It's fine for you to drink if you have an adult with you.
