I've got TinyXP working, but when I set my resolution to 1240x1024 it only allows 16b color.
If I switch it to 32b it will down the res to 1240x720 on its own.

Drivers get. It may not support true color in such high resolution settings or your video driver may just be shit and require updating.

I used to run 1280x1024 at 32b for years, so I'll try updating drivers.
But my HDD is fine, thank you.

TinyXP is notorious for removing the default drivers packed into the retail Windows XP installation disk. This is however, also what removes much of the bloat from the install and Windows system.

Yeah, it's just using default drivers which explains the shittiness in scrolling and 16b.

Well that sucks. Last trick I know is to use debug:

Code:
start->run->cmd

Type debug, then type d c000:0000. Hit d again until you see something that looks like NVIDIA or something along those lines. Take a screenshot and post.
