About The Hobbit.

to consider in these sections of your book report..

* Comparative:

. Which associations or feelings did you have on reading the text?

. Could you identify with the main character or any of the other characters? Why(not)?

. What is the connection between this text and other texts you have read?

. Has a film been made of the text? Can you compare them?

. Choose a passage from the book that touched or impressed you. Copy it in your

file. Explain your choice.

* Interpretative:

. Does the text belong to a certain literary period? Comment.

. What do you think the author was trying to say with this text? In other words, what is

deeper meaning behind the text?

* Evaluative:

. You may/should refer to literary criticism from other sources and comment on its

value and your opinion of the critique

. Give your own elaborate and profound opinion on the book.
