For the businessman who hates a cluttered desk, wireless.
For the gamer who LOLRAGES when he dies in Halo, wired (so he doesn't have his mouse to blame how shit he is on)

Gaming here, don't lolrage, but Low level competitive.

I always blame my cat for my failings. "I have to go feed my cat".

I don't blame my mouse for my failings, i blame my 4:3 monitor not being 120hz.

Wired is obviously better for gaming. You don't want a delay in your movements for any FPS game. And no one plays halo SF. CSS, and MW2, obviously.

Lol.
I use a sidewinder X8 and majority of the time I run wireless, and experience no delay.
Maybe like 5 years ago wireless mice had a delay, but I have never experienced any.

Also to whoever asked what the point of a gaming mouse is, they have a higher DPI, Programmable buttons and in game macro recording.

wireless mouse can still have a delay today. It depends. I've had problems with a mouse just because I had wireless games running near by. My NDS threw one of my crappier mouse off. If you get one with the long wired receiver, you can just place it above the mouse and it runs perfect, no delay, but then my dad has one thats just a tiny usb reciver, a 3ghz one. It has the tendency to lag. And its even a logitech.

I honestly think the razed mousepads are a waste of money IMO
if you want a mousepad just get a steelseries qck, it's big, smooth and it works farely well my lachesis. On top of that it's 10$.

DPI is a marketing gimmick, in reality it basically serves as nothing more than a sensitivity multiplier / divider
