| Windows XP definetly, though I'm using vista. Vista is too annoying with all the security on it (even when UAC is disabled), you can't access alot.

It has many driver problems and running problems. It is slow and is a hastle to use in some cases. Win7 is Win Vista with those problems fixed. |
Driver problems? Bullshit. Win7 got way more driver problems atm.
Slow? No. Get a better PC than.

I like Win. 7 as long as you disable Auto Updates, Firewall and all the extra Microsoft crap, and definitely disable UAC so i dont get those security popups.

1. Don't tell people to disable auto updates, you might be able to take care but they might not. I know a shitload amount of people that have it off for some reason and never update their pc.
2. Microsoft crap? Please explain.
3. UAC is good and bad at time. It helps me control what people do on my pc also. Though in win7 they gave you more options than in vista on how many popups you get and for what reason.

| Xp is my favourite got vista on a laptop and all i can say is its a pile of crap. Havent tried windows 7 yet..

Ubuntu.
Cos it's free, has fastest boot up/shut down time, Needs less space on a hard drive, and it runs better on low spec computers.
You don't need an antivirus, and you can customize it in any way you like.
In terms of other OSes,
Ubuntu=WinXP>Mac OS X>Vista
Haven't tried Win7 so I can't say much about it.

That's going to be (at least at first) for specific systems. And what's the big deal about everything being done through a browser? There are some benefits, but it's just like a pitch for Chrome and their web apps in my opinion.
