Haha, this is hard to explain but I'm gonna try:
I scanned for the value I wanted on my flash game (the coin value), found it, and froze it. Then I spent some of the coins, and it showed the value decrease (on the game) then increase back to the frozen value. But everytime I spent, the decreasing value kept decreasing, but after a second it would show the number I wanted frozen. So, I kept spending thinking that the value would always stay at where I wanted it to, but the underlying value (the decreasing one) finally hit 0. It changed back to the value I froze it at, but I couldn't spend.
Is this because I have to find two addresses? Or is it just a bug? Help please

Is this an online game?
Sometimes things like this are server-sided, and you cant change anything that is server-sided.
Have you just tried changing the value?
That might be an answer instead of freezing it.
Did you ever try replacing the code that decreases your money into a code that does nothing?

Doubtful that it's a second value. You say it momentarily freezes/flickers; in other words you get a visual indication that your alteration did something, although it doesn't 'really' work. This:
