I need a program. I can't access BIOS settings, they are blocked/removed.

the reason it's overheating is because it's working too hard. Sticking another process in will make it work too hard trying not to work hard.
I solved my problem by propping the thing up with 4 lego tyres.
It worked wonders.
Anyway. Grab some things about the same height (ie bottle caps), stick them under the laptop in question, but don't block the fan.
Allows cool air to circulate so the fan has an easier job.

He mean that thick white or silver jizz you put between your CPU and cooler in order to wisk the heat away.
Seriously, it's thermal paste and certain notebook are not easily accessible to these parts. If you can't or inexperience with taking apart a notebook, then don't bother.

I'd also just get rid of gamebooster... disable unwanted services/startup programs, end any processes you're not using, etc. you can't really use software to make up for a lack of good hardware.

Thermal paste. Depending on the type it may have dried out and no longer efficiently transfers heat, though metallic-based pastes, especially those with a curing time (AS5, for example), tend not to.

They'll most likely charge you $50 dollar and 2hours of your time and putting crappy paste. Or you can just buy those http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2030260319%201276817102&name=Cooler and hopefully it drops

| I say forget about the thermal paste if you're spastic/didn't know about it. Pick up a laptop cooler for fifty bucks.

You think it is possible to change it? Isn't there a chance that the cooler sordored on?
