Why exactly is the PS3 fat better than the PS3 Slim? Also, does it really matter how much GB's it has? I mean how big can a save-file be?

| The fat ones have better hardware. Also, the 60GB one can play PS1 and PS2 games.

For media, also
1. Slim uses 30% less electricity (The big uses loads) Which is also good to get a smaller electricity bill.
2. Fills less space
3. You install the games (About 1,3 gb each) Savegames are pretty big too.
4. You can't install OS''s on slim

250gb sucks. Get a fat ps3 any size(60 if you want to play ps1/ps2) and then an extern HDD and hook em' up.

I got the special 160gb fatty.
Also the 60gb is worse than 80gb, it crashes more and uses more power. Also bigger chance of YLOD.
Question: What is the hardware differences between fat and slim? I've never ever heard about any. The only thing it lacks of is installing OS.
Akea: Indeed he is.

| I personally own a 60GB, I wouldn't change it for a Slim if someone asked.
