Hi, I'm new on the forum.

I am trying to bypass a certain game launcher with OllyDbg so I can use directx-mess on the game.

I tried changing the JNZ and JE conditions that are right above the "You must start the game from the launcher..." messageboxes to JMP, but it did not work.

Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

The game is called Face of Mankind. Here are the jump conditions that I tried changing to JMP

Try doing this.
1. Make the changes you did
2. Dump the patched version (get OllyDump plugin if you don't have it).
3. Check original CRC of the program you are messing with (Peid + crc plugin needed).
4. Change the crc of the dumped version to the original crc.

This can work sometimes if it doesn't have any more advanced checksum system.
