| Your doing it wrong, take the handles off some knifes and super glue them to a wall. Run into them until you can't run any more and +1.

Sad thing is that most people today don't know how to set up a proper hanging.
With a gun, all you need to do is pull a trigger. Why torture yourself even more by taking the time to tie a rope at an altitude high enough that when you fall you won't just land on the floor? Why not same yourself the anxiety of having to step on a chair or other high surface, put a rope around your neck, and then jump?
Seriously, just pull the trigger. It's less painful, it's quick, and it's fast. The chances of hurting yourself instead of dying are also low. You'd be surprised at how many people survive a suicide because of improper preparations.
