So I'm trying to decide which phone to get.
Choice #1:
Motorola Cliq

Choice #2:
Mytouch 3G

The only difference really is the keyboard.

I'd go with the Cliq, if you text a lot. If you're looking for something more personalized with lots of cool bells and whistles, then get the MyTouch.

i would go with the cliq. Small, fits into pocket, and the asdfg keybaord. Can it take pictures though?

Also, specs please, like memory amount, deals, n such.

Depends what you want really.
The first option is good, mainly because you wont be cleaning off the screen the whole time, also you can probably text faster and have more control... but limited as touch screens have more availability and options.

The second choice i find touch screens crack easily and sometimes lag, but are pretty good. I hate cleaning off the screen though.
Texting is a little more difficult, but easy to do after a couple uses.

I'd honestly go wtih choice #2, I have a sony ericsson xperia x1 atm & honestly. The keyboard just gets annoying to use.

Alright look, I have a texting phone just like the Cliq, the texting on the keyboard is so friken annoying. you can`t type 2 words at the same time and the phone becomes extremely slow.

Find out what kind of screen the mytouch has, is it like the iPhones? because I have a Samsung Impression, it has a different type of touch screen.

Samsung Impression touch screen- use nails, stylus etc.
iPhone - fingers only.

if the mytouch is finger only, you should get it because those type of touch screens are extremely great. just my opinion...

I have an Env3 with a full QWERTY keyboard and the texting is fine for me. My brother has the EnvTouch and I've tried texting on a touchscreen, it's very difficult because I tend to use sense of touch for finding keys.
